Proud Black Nurses was founded during my final semester of nursing school in 2019. What started as a small vision quickly grew into something much bigger — a movement dedicated to celebrating the strength, excellence, and impact of Black nurses in healthcare and beyond. As our community gained recognition across social media platforms, we sought to showcase the dedication and resilience of Black healthcare professionals on the front lines and beyond. The brand became a powerful symbol of pride, representation, and unity within the nursing community.
PBN is more than a clothing brand — it’s a statement. It represents resilience, excellence, culture, and pride in the vital role Black nurses play in healthcare around the world. Our mission is simple: celebrate, uplift, and empower Black nurses by creating meaningful apparel and a global community that honors their dedication, excellence, and impact. We strive to inspire pride in the profession while recognizing the legacy and contributions of Black nurses around the globe.

We believe healthcare is strengthened by diversity and collaboration, and we welcome nurses, healthcare workers, and supporters of all races, cultures, and professions who stand with our mission.
